Our Policies

  1. Security - This is a secure web site.
      

  2. Minimum order - 5 yards per fabric.  Does not apply to clearance fabrics.
        

  3. Imperfect Fabrics - The vast majority of our fabrics are first quality.  However, we do sell some slightly imperfect fabrics.  Imperfect fabrics are noted as such.  We will not ship fabrics with gross imperfections.
        

  4. Quantities - Our stock changes rapidly.  We stock 10s of thousands of yards.  All fabrics are sold on a first come, first served basis.  If we are out of stock of your selected fabric we will not bill your credit card or we will credit ASAP, checks will be returned.
        

  5. Returns - We accept returns with a 20% restocking fee.  Restocking fee does not apply in the event that we fill your order incorrectly.  Shipping charges are refunded only if a mistake is made in filling your order.  Please email us with your intent to return a fabric.  We will respond with instructions.  All returned fabrics must be in like-new condition, not unfolded/unrolled and not cut.  All requests for returns must be made within 5 business days of receipt of your order.  Fabric must be received within 20 days after return authorization is issued.

    Non-returnable items:
    1.  Orders of 2 yards or less are considered samples and are shipped as a courtesy.
    2.  Grab Bags.

        

  6. Most fabrics are rolled on tubes, others are flat folded.   When possible we will indicate this in the showroom.  However, we reserve the right to supply fabrics folded or rolled at our discretion.
        

  7. Shipping times - We will ship as soon as possible.   Normal time between receiving an order and actual shipping is 3-5 business days.  This does not include transit times which will vary widely depending on your geographic location.
     

  8. Shipping charges - We bill only actual shipping charges.  This may be as a second billing to ensure accuracy.

    International Orders - Please email us to arrange shipping.

    All orders will have insurance or confirmation added.
        

  9. Appearance - We have had extremely good results displaying fabrics on the internet.  However, even though we use very high quality equipment, fabrics and colors may appear slightly different due to differences in computer equipment and settings.  We will note differences in colors etc. that we are aware of that may be caused by photographing and scanning.  However, we have no control over differences in the equipment that the customer is using.  The Drapery Shop and Discount Fabric of Winston-Salem assume no responsibility for these differences.
     
  10. Out of stock items and Incomplete orders - We will ship all available items on each order.  Out of stock and back-ordered items will be deleted from the order.
        
  11. Personal Checks - Personal checks may be held for up to 10 days.
        
  12. Prices - All pricing is in U.S. Dollars.
        
  13. All of our fabrics are dry-clean only!
     
  14. Privacy - We never share your personal information (including email address) with anyone!
